Dealer version Ca terET 2009 diagnostic software and factory password keygenerator for it

 

Keygenerator can create Password for access to programming for Caterpillar 2009 ET software. When you are going to chage a parameter on ECM you require a password, that is supposed to be solely distributed by caterpillar.

 

You will get window from picture No1. The right part is factory passwords, and the left is for making licenses for STW, SIS, ET

 

In right part of keygen screen you will have "Factory Password Making", under it you will find one white filed, click on it, it will open you browse window. ( See picture No1 if you didn't understand instructions.)

 Browse for html file which you saved in CAT ET, click on it and click on Open. In folder Example of ET file you have example of file saved from Cat ET. When you get to window in ET which requires you a factory password (picture No2), you just click on Save to File, and that's how you make html file ;)
Be sure that you don't close the CAT ET window before entering passwords, because if you do that, on next start of ET the total tattletale will change and the passwords made for previous count of total tattletale will not work!

After loading a html file, your box will be filled with details. Click on icon in a shape of a key (marked with red paint on picture No3).
Then you need to scroll the box, and your passwords will appear(see part marked with green paint on picture No3).
You can click on save icon (floppy disc) which is under make keys icon, and your passwords will be saved in file lic_pwds.txt.
